Her baby seems to enjoy the bus ride
The rocking and windows vibrating in the panes
She tells me she’s not going anywhere
Just around the mountain and back
She tells me she left from her destination
And it’s all circles going around
And around with the ones you love anyway
And there’s no point in pretending progress
Just enjoy the view, even grey clouds forever
The baby stares and smiles and whines
And she holds him so close
How nice it must be to love unabashed
In a world Oh! where shame divides us so
She tells me his name and it sounds like Amen
So I say Hallelujah
